1993 was truly seen as a commitment year to what God told Evangelist Ipe to do. He set up small home
group Churches in North Kerala in Wayanad district in the Sultan Bathery area where some of his
cousins lived. Eventually, God helped him establish 3 Churches in the area. The ministry was
predominantly started in the Forest area near Sultan Bathery. A Pastor from the Church in Pandalam,
Kochumon Mathai started visiting and ministering in Sultan Bathery and further established the Church.
Evangelist Ipe provided them with a Jeep through which they could travel frequently and preach the
Gospel to people in central Kerala. Eventually, 5 stations or prayer groups of the Church were set up in
areas in Wayanad
